We are about to hit the road again and we are all super stoked to be bringing our good friend Quetzal Guerrero aka QVLN from LA. We'll be heading to one of my all-time favorite festivals, Artswells a ways up north. Quetzal is a helluva violinist & song-writer with deep family roots in pan-Americana and world-beat. My band will be backing him up for his own sets and he will be joining my band as well. We'll be showing him a bit of the beauty of BC as well as play a few shows before heading to Wapiti Festival in Fernie, where we will showcase a few of his songs within our set. This is just the start of introducing this fantastic human and artist to Canada. This next little leg is going to be awesome.

First week into our campaign to raise funds to produce CDs and vinyl for the new record. Really grateful for all our supporters so far, thank you all!! Still a ways to go, however, and need some more folks to pre-order CDs, vinyl and choose some of our great perks. The album and gifts will be delivered to you all in October, nearly 6months before the official release of the album! Check out the video and the campaign page here:
Currently back on the Crow’s Nest Highway, on our way to Rossland. Last couple nights have been pleasant returns to Revelstoke and Golden. Finding myself really digging playing solo, after some resistance, since I’ve been loving the energy of the full band. When it’s just me I’ve been able to explore my voice and squeeze maximum emotion out of my old songs and experiment with the groove & delivery of new songs. Building a solid friendship with Jeff Crosby & the Refugees (Trevor, Will & Andy), fantastic guys and a killer band. Been watching Jeff’s fingers on his strat, hoping to pick up some skills by osmosis.
