Just returned from the Towards Eden Festival. It was a magical weekend… To be out in such a stunning environment with such kind people was real blessing. The main stage was run off of solar, wind and bike power. A good portion of the food we ate was grown on the land itself, up in the Nahatlatch north of Hope. It was more than just a festival, it was a building of community directed towards a more sustainable and conscious way of living. There were workshops for new and old technologies, arts and culture, and the spirit of this celebration was in the people who attended. I feel blessed to have been a part of it and am excited about what this festival will become and how the spirit of it will continue throughout the year.
